Sugar Plum Candy is a round or oval piece of sugar-coated plum jelly candy resembling the sugar plum fruit, which has the appearance of a gigantic purple grape. Sugar plums are widely associated with Christmas through cultural phenomena such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, as well as the line "Visions of sugar plums danced in their heads," from "A Visit from St. Nicholas," better known as "Twas the Night Before Christmas." Therefore it seems only fitting that we offer Sugar Plum Jelly Candies this holiday season. Available in a 1/2 lb. box, the candies are packaged in a plastic bag within.
