When you consider all the work that goes into producing pure maple syrup, which in turn is further boiled and reduced into pure maple sugar, it's shocking to see this product even offered these days. Use Instructions: Maple syrup and maple sugar are all natural sweetener that can be used in any recipe that calls for sugar of a different kind. For every one cup of white sugar that a recipe calls for, substitute in 3/4 of a cup of maple syrup or one cup of maple sugar. For each cup of maple syrup used, decrease the liquid in the recipe by 2-4 tablespoons. Maple syrup does crystalize, so decrease your oven temperature by 25 degrees.
