Yes, we said it, "Take it from us."

PIECES OF VERMONT® owner Rick Smith lived in Grafton and Wilmington Vermont for a large portion of his life and needless to say, he sampled a lot of maple sugar candy and Vermont cheddar cheese over the years. So when he says, "Take it from us", it's because he knows maple candy and Vermont cheese. He knows the players and who makes great candy and great cheese. Over the past 22 years there have been several maple candy producers on this website, and they made good candy, just not great maple candy. That is until he met candy-maker Chad Metayer who owned a small candy store on Main Street in St. Albans Vermont.
